Exercise Tips to For Cold Weather

Why wait til the new year or beach season to start a fitness regime when you can easily keep fit during the colder months?
Outdoor exercise is a great way to combat seasonal depression or even just general winter laziness. Here are some tips to stay in shape during the colder months:
-If you plan to jog or power walk outside, always dress warm and in layers. Always make sure your neck is covered and depending on how cold it is you might want to wear 2 pairs of socks.
-Jog with a friend- It will make it more fun and easier to commit to a regular workout. Considering how early it gets dark outside during the winter it is especially useful to team up with a friend for general safety reasons.
-Watch your step! Jog with extreme caution and make sure to avoid icy sidewalks.
-Take advantage of the cold weather and get in shape by doing winter activities! Skating, snowboarding and even cross country skiing are great workouts and a fun change from your regular routine.
